Recently SYC, a subsidiary of CEEDI officially signed the EPC contract with CanSemi for the 12-inch Integrated Circuit Chip Project. The project is located in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City in Huangpu District. The total investment is planned to be 7 billion RMB Yuan, and the investment in the Phase I is 4.4 billion RMB Yuan.

The Pearl River Delta Region is an important production base for electronic machines in China. This project will be the first 12-inch integrated circuit chip production line in Guangzhou and create the largest integrated circuit industry ecosystem in South China.
