CEEDI’s deputy GM attends the groundbreaking ceremony for the Inno-science (Suzhou) New Semiconductor Project

Recently SYC and Beijing CEEDI, CEEDI’s two subsidiaries, jointly undertook the new semiconductor production plant and other projects of Inno-science (Suzhou) Semiconductor Co., Ltd., which held the groundbreaking ceremony in Wuhu High-tech Development Zone in Wujiang, Jiangsu Province. Wang Li, CEEDI’s deputy general manager and chairman of Beijing CEEDI, attended and delivered a speech in the ceremony.

 

Inno-science (Suzhou) has a total investment of about 6 billion RMB Yuan in the new semiconductor production plant and other projects, of which the investment of the first phase is about 2 billion RMB Yuan. The total planned land area of ​​the plant is nearly 24.7 hectare and the total planned construction area of ​​the plant is about 290,000 square meters. The projects undertaken by SYC and Beijing CEEDI are the EPC general contracting projects of the first phase of the project, covering an area of ​​more than 14 hectare and a total construction area of ​​about 160,000 square meters. After its completion, it will have an annual production capacity of 888K pieces of 8-inch wafers for silicon-based power semiconductor integrated circuit. It will also become a world-class third-generation whole Industry-chain semiconductor R&D and production platform, integrating R&D, design, epitaxial production, chip manufacturing and packaging testing, to fill the industry gap of high-end semiconductor devices in China.
