Recently a roof-sealing ceremony for main factory building structure of Guangzhou CanSemi Semiconductor 12-inch Integrated Circuit Production Line Project was held in the project site that located in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City of Huangpu District, Guangzhou. SYC, a subsidiary of CEEDI, provided EPC service for the project.

Liu Yuelun, chairman of the Guangzhou Committee of the Chinese People""s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Chen Xiaohua, head of Guangzhou""s Huangpu district, Chen Wei, CEO of CanSemi Semiconductor, and more than 400 people participated in the ceremony. Su Gangmin, assistant to the general manager of CEEDI and general manager of SYC was invited to attend and delivered a speech. The personnel of SYC’s project team for CanSemi Semiconductor project participated.

The roof-sealing of main factory building structure of the project represents a solid step in the development of the integrated circuit industry in Guangzhou. It makes a new step in the technology industry in Huangpu District of Guangzhou. It fills the vacancies of analog chips, power management chips, microcontrollers and power components; and promotes the coordinated development of upstream and downstream industrial chains. The project is of great significance for the development of the semiconductor industry in Guangzhou, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau.

CanSemi Semiconductor project is the first semiconductor production line project in Guangzhou, and is a landmark project for the implementation of the IAB program in Guangzhou. Their products are designed to meet the needs of innovative applications such as automotive electronics, internet of things (IoT), AI and 5G etc.
