Recently the chemical filtration unit, studied and developed by SYC, a subsidiary of CEEDI, won the Certificate for Beijing’s New Technology and New Product. 

Following the fast rise of intelligent display terminal, the demand for LTPS TFT LCD increased rapidly. The process of LTPS TFT LCD is a kind of new semi-conductor display process, which has a strict requirement on the concentration control of the pollution at molecular level (i.e. chemical substance pollution) during the production. In order to provide the best solution to the customer, SYC set up a group of experts to study on the process and develop the filtration unit suitable for the Fab. With great efforts the experts made the first chemical filtration unit for commercial use in China which has successfully past all kinds of tests for performance and can be put into production. SYC applied for 4 patents for invention and 23 patents of utility model and has obtained 20 patents issued by the intellectual property office of Beijing.

In December 2015, SYC’s chemical filtration unit won the certificate of Beijing’s New Technology and New Product jointly issued by the Science and Technology Commission, the Commission of Development and Reform, the Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision of Beijing Municipality and the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park.
