CEEDI won the 1st prize in the design competition for Beijing Massage Hospital

Recently CEEDI’s WZJ Studio won the 1st prize in the competition of architectural design for Beijing Massage Hospital depending on its understanding of Chinese culture and traditional Chinese medicine and treatment, research and study on traditional Chinese architecture, and analysis on the characteristics of the project. 

Breaking through the concept of traditional medical building, CEEDI’s architects design it to be a human-oriented modern medical building with Chinese elements on the principal of Sunshine Medical, Landscape Medical and Green Medical. With severe competition, our experience verifies again that the original design is the key to victory. 

With easy transportation the project site is at Block No.36, Chaoyang District, Beijing, covering an area of 10,000m2. The total construction area is 40,000 m2. The hospital engages in driving the development of medical massage of blind practitioner in China and the guarantee of human right and will be an important exhibition to show the traditional Chinese medicine and treatment and the care for social vulnerable groups to the world.
