CEEDI wins the bid for Tibetan Buddhism Temple Reconstruction Project.

Gemeng Temple is located in Shiqu town where is to the southeast of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the junction of Sichuan Province, Qinghai Province and Tibet. The elevation of the temple is over 4,200m. The project covers an area of 130,000m2 with a total floor area of 70,000m2. The height of temple is 31.5m.

The old temple is not well planned with poor heat insulation and inadequate living facilities. In the reconstruction plan, CEEDI concentrates on not only the temple’s sustainability and functional space distribution, but also the protection against fire and landslide and supply of power, water and heat. Meanwhile the feature of Tibetan Buddhism is kept completely.

Winning this project is a new exploration for CEEDI in heritage building repair industry.
