On 9th May 2014, the opening ceremony of Samsung China Semiconductor Project was held in Xian. It is a project designed by SYC, a subsidiary of CEEDI and marks that the V-NAND is officially put into volume production. The V-NAND is the most advanced 10nm NAND in the world.
Mrs. Hu Ping, president of CEEDI was invited to the ceremony. Other attendants include Mr. Miao Wei, Minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of P. R. China, Mr. Xu Xianping, Vice Director of National Development and Reform Commission, Mr. Zhao Zhengyong, Secretary to Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Lou Qinjian, Governor of Shanxi Province, Mr. Quan Shining, South Korea Ambassador to P. R. China and Mr. Quan Wuxuan, Director of Samsung Semiconductor etc.
Samsung China Semiconductor is Samsung’s largest oversea investment since its establishment. The total investment of the project is over seven billion US dollars. SYC provided all the service from early consultation to engineering design and is highly recognized and praised by the owner.
