Turfan New Energy Model City Micro-grid Project planned by CEEDI was reported on CCTV Documentary Channel

On 8th June 2014, the documentary “Red Line” was shown on CCTV-12, in which the Turfan New Energy Model City Micro-grid Project planned and designed by CEEDI was reported. Mr. Yu Jinhui, Director of CEEDI’s PV Department, was interviewed by CCTV’s reporter.
Yu introduced the profile of Turfan Micro-grid Project. It is China’s first intelligent PV micro-grid project approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration and SERC. The power generation center and power load center are built together in order to optimize the power efficiency of the project. Meanwhile, the power can also be supplied by the municipal grid under the circumstances such as bad weather or night time to insure the power stabilization.
In 2013, CEEDI published the book of “Micro-grid and Solar Power Eco-city” which is written based on this project. The project provides a good experience to China’s new urbanization, and shows CEEDI’s strong ability in the micro-grid industry.
“Red Line” is the first documentary focusing on domestic ecological safety in China. It records the efforts that people takes to solve the ecological dilemma and appeals to everyone to regard environmental concern.
