It is announced on the award ceremony on 4^th December 2014 that BOE G6 TFT-LCD Plant Project wins the 12^th China Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Prize (ZTY Prize). SYC, a subsidiary of CEEDI, assumed the design and EPCM for the project.

As the most famous engineering prize in China, ZTY Prize is jointly issued by China Civil Engineering Society and Zhantianyou Development Foundation for Science and Technology. The officials from Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China and China Civil Engineering Society presented at the ceremony.

BOE G6 TFT-LCD Plant has the first G6 TFT-LCD production line in China, which is independently designed by and constructed in the management of SYC. Technology of Innovations applied include dual-layer FAB cleanroom with concrete structure, anti-vibration design of dual-layer structure plant, and two-way steel roof truss structure with large space & spam. This is China’s first TFT-LCD plant contains all processes of array, color membrane, cell process, back light and module.

The project is located in Hefei of Anhui Province, covering an area of 407,000 m². The floor area is 406,000 m² and the total investment is 16.5 billion RMB. The construction commenced on 13^th April 2009 and completed on 7^th June 2010. It was the largest scale high-tech plant with the largest investment and the most complicated system in China at that time.
