Recently, wafer plant of Honor Trust Technology (Zhengzhou) Co, Ltd generally contracted by S.Y, Technology, Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd of CEEDI had been completed and put into production at the Henan Zhengzhou Export Processing Zone. This time, the wafer plant covered an construction area of 26,500 ㎡, mainly producing power management IC with production technology for the line width of 0.5μm and below and production capacity of 20,000 chips monthly.

Putting into production of the project was highly attached great importance by local leaders. Secretary of Henan Provincial Party Committee and director of Provincial People""s Congress Xu Guangchun expressly sent congratulatory letter. Vice secretary of Provincial Party Committee of Henan and acting governor Guo Gengmao, Standing Committee of Henan Provincial Party Committee and secretary of Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee Wang Wenchao, vice governor of Henan Shi Jichun, mayor of Zhengzhou Zhao Jiancai and local leaders attended the ceremony of putting into production. In addition, the general manager Du Xianyang, chief engineer Qin Xueli and related project leaders of S.Y. were invited to attend the ceremony.

The completion of this project marked the first wafer production line and semiconductor related industries started smoothly in Zhengzhou and even in entire Henan province which would play great stimulating and promoting role on industrial structure transformation and upgrading in Zhengzhou.
