On March 24, 2009, President Hu Ping and vice President Li Peibin met with Mr. Eiichi Ishida and his group of Japan Takasago Thermal Industry Co., Ltd who visited CEEDI and had a friendly and warm conversation on energy saving and environmental protection business focused by both parties.

During the conversation, President Hu Ping and vice President Li Peibin introduced the major results of CEEDI in the field of energy saving and environmental protection to visitors. President Eiichi Ishida introduced the technical application and development of Takasago on air pollution, water treatment and energy saving and proposed the expectation of enhancing technical exchange and cooperatively developing related business in China. The two parties reached a cooperative intent on jointly developing the business in the field of energy saving and environmental protection like water treatment and environment management in China to promote the development of Chinese energy saving and environmental protection.
