On May 20, 2009, the Launching Ceremony of IRICO (Foshan) OLED R&D & Industrialization Project of IRICO Group Corporation was held at the project construction site in Wusha Industry Park, Shunde district, Foshan, Guangdong. S.Y. Technology Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. of CEEDI was responsible for the engineering design of this project. Leaders from MIIT, Guangdong province and Foshan city attended the ceremony, and President of CEEDI and Chairman of S.Y. Hu Ping and the CTO of S.Y. Shen Zhichao were invited to participate in the ceremony.

IRICO (Foshan) OLED project introduced the advanced production equipments from abroad with a total investment of 500 million yuan. The annual output of OLED display was 12,000,000 pieces. The completion of this project would play a significant role in promoting the industrial chain of entire Pearl River Delta and make important strategic significance to display device R&D of China. It also further enhanced the engineering design technology in flat panel display projects of CEEDI and established the leading position in the engineering construction service of flat panel display field which made CEEDI stride to a new level in the engineering design of cutting-edge high-tech field.

Before the ceremony, President Hu Ping talked with the general manager of IRICO Group Corporation Xing Daoqin, deputy director of Department of Electronic Information of MIIT Wang Bohua and other leaders attended the ceremony cordially. The general manager of IRICO (Foshan) Flat Panel Display Co., Ltd Wang Jianshe thanked President Hu Ping and S.Y. providing strong supports for this project and fully affirmed the hard work and active cooperation of the project team.
