On October 30, 2009, the cornerstone layering ceremony of comprehensive hospital project for aiding Middle Africa designed by our institute was grandly held. Over 1000 people including President of Middle Africa, Speaker, Acting Prime Minister and governmental members, diplomatic corps for Middle Africa and principals for international organs, officials in each layer of Middle Africa, groups from all walks together with all diplomats of China in Middle African Embassy, experts team in Middle Africa and principals in Chinese-invested companies etc presented the ceremony. Bozize, President of Middle Africa, earthed up for cornerstone laying for the project in person. The completion of this project shall fill up the gap of no large-scaled medial organs existing in several provinces in the Southeast and in the districts where the project lies.

China-aided comprehensive hospital project in Middle Africa is the detailed reflection of one of the eight measures proclaimed by President Hu Jintao in China-Africa Forum Beijing Summit on November, 2006 that is also one of the eight hospitals built in Africa aided by the Chinese government announced in China-Africa Forum Beijing Summit. In March, 2009, our institute was commissioned by the Ministry of Commerce and assumed the task for professional survey and designing of the project. Designers in our institute carried forward the outstanding styles of ‘not fearing difficulties, daring to address difficulties and fighting uphill battles’ and completed the qualified designing task within a short period of time  despite of the negative conditions of tight schedules, which rooted foundations for the Ministry of Commerce to choose the construction organ of the project within a short period of time and successfully sign foreign construction contract so that the cornerstone layering ceremony was ensured to be held in advance prior to the convening of China-Africa Forum Ministerial Meeting.
