On September 20, 2010, a cooperative agreement on the general contracting project of waste heat generating of Yunnan Hongta Dianxi Cement Co., Ltd. was signed by and between S.Y. Technology, Engineering & Construction CO., Ltd. under CEEDI and Yunnan Mec Clean Energy Development Co., Ltd., with the latter as investor of the project.

Yunnan Hongta Dianxi Cement Co., Ltd is the first largest cement manufacturer in Dianxi (West Yunnan) and also the first cement precalcining production line enterprise built in the high altitude area of China. Upon the completion of this project, a waste power station with capacity of 6,000kW will be designed and constructed for the 3*3,000t/d cement clinker production line of Yunnan Hongta Dianxi Cement Co., Ltd with a view to improving the resource utilization rate in an effective manner.

In response to the call for the energy conservation and emission reduction in the key areas such as nonferrous metal, steel and iron, building material and chemistry, S.Y. Technology, Engineering & Construction CO., Ltd. under CEEDI grasps new advantages, makes full use of its advantages and continuously expands its business areas. Based on its rich experience in the low temperature and waste heat of steel and iron filed, it further enhances its service ability and continuously extends to relevant high energy consumption field. The implementation of this project will become another important application of low temperature and waste heat utilization of S.Y. Technology, Engineering & Construction CO., Ltd. in the cement industry.
