On 2 March, 2011, Beijing municipal economic and information committee published recognition result of the 13^th batch of enterprise technical center of Beijing in the year of 2010, and our institute was recognized as Beijing municipal enterprise technical center.

In order to push forward the development of technical center for enterprise, Beijing municipal government provided recognition to the technical center of enterprise with strong technical and creative capacity, and significant creation achievement, and enterprises with important examplary and leading role, and gave relevant supporting policies to encourage and guide the enterprise to make uses of various social resources to promote independent innovation capacity. Our institute getting the recognition smoothly is an highly recognition to our scientific and creative level and innovative performance, and lays foundation for our institute to apply for technical center of national level for enterprises.

In recent years, scientific and innovative work of our institute has made great progress and made outstanding contributions to sustainable development of our institute. We have improved science and research innovation organization and developed driving business depending on the comparative advantages such as specialized technology and talents, and stepped a development road of "combined production and research, driven by science and technology" in accordance with the development principle of "leading with strategy, pursuing changes actively, open and innovation, and evaluation based on responsibility and performance" and science and technology guideline of "building creative platform, accumulate talents to strengthen the institute". We enhanced science and technology input, technical research and development, cultivation of innovative talents and established "science and research work station for post-doctoral studies" and set up technical committee and other specialized committee, and cooperated with colleges and universities, and science and research institutes to tackle the technical challenges, and made significant achievements in scientific innovation, technical management, results transformation, and knowledge sharing through combination with industrial association and enterprises, centering on strategies, such as science and research promotion, standardization, intellectual property. Currently, our institute has had over 20 independent core technologies in industrial engineering, civil construction and energy efficient and environmental protection fields. We passed CNAS and CMA certification, and had access permit of national level to enter international and domestic market, and edited over 1000 national standards and specifications, and atlas, and participated in implementing over 10 key projects of national level, such as national 863 project, and "science and technology support project", and "development fund for electronic and information industry", and "science and technology fund of Beijing".

In the beginning of 12^th five year plan, we will continuously enhance technical advantages, and bring science and technology innovation platform, technical service platform, and construction engineering management platform into play, and further promote creative capability of enterprise, and endeavour to step into "technical center of enterprise" of national level as earliest as possible under the instruction of national strategic disposition, and SDIC.
