Total investment for generation 8.5 TFT LCD by Shenzhen Huaxing Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd is 24.5 billion Yuan, which has been the largest investment project since Shenzhen city was founded, and has been one of highest generation TFT-LCD production line constructed independently by and in China. Total floorage is about 650,000 square meters, including primary building No. 1 (array color film workshop) about 390,000 square meters with clean area of single floor being 78,000 square meters, building No. 2 (box forming) about 170,000 square meters with clean area of single floor being 45,000 square meters. Array color film workshop is the largest one in scale and mass of same type of project in China.

Since beginning of construction of the project in January 2010, Project team of Shiyuan technology company overcame the difficulties of tight timeline, heavy task, long raining season, centralized resources which are not convenient for organization, complicated construction, etc. Good achievements were gained, for example, on 8 December, 2010, power workshop was roofed ahead of schedule; on 10 December, 2010, box forming workshop was roofed ahead of schedule; on 28 December, array color film workshop was roofed ahead of schedule.
